Keep these handy Test Tips in mind when you
are preparing for the TOEFL test:
- Practice and study English regularly.
- Use films, television, Web sites, and other
"non-academic" resources as valuable methods to learn English.
- Know what styles of learning work for you and
those that don't work, both in and out of class.
- Use a variety of exercises to develop your English
skills.
- Understand the depth of your English goals.
- Answer all the questions on the TOEFL test. Never
leave a question blank. It's better to make an educated guess.
- Be comfortable with each section and type of
question on the computer-based TOEFL test.
- Confirm your answer when you're certain it's
correct during Listening and Structure because you can't return to
a question during these sections.
- Pace yourself when taking the TOEFL test. Don't
dwell on a difficult question.
- Practice the TOEFL test as much as possible.
